Fleur de Sel (“Flower of salt” in French) is a hand-harvested sea salt collected by scraping only the top layer of salt before it sinks to the bottom of large salt pans. Many top chefs prefer Fleur de Sel and view it as the top of the line in salts. Wonderful on anything, but especially grilled and roasted meats, fresh raw vegetables, or salads.
