It took us a long time to this get these right. We wanted the flavor to flow all the way down, linger and grow. VSpicery created both a mild and a hot version because of Jamaican friends said we nailed the flavor, but it could stand more heat. Jerk came about when settlers from Africa, Spain and China, to name a few, came to the island and food cultures combined with the island’s bounty. We recommend either Maroon Jerk Seasoning on pork, chicken, fish, shrimp, lamb, vegetable stews and sweet potatoes. Which one depends on your heat tolerance.
