V’s Garlic Salt is a kicked up version of your typical garlic salt. We added roasted garlic to give it a more complex depth of garlic flavor, herbs, and a touch of Marash chili flakes. The Marash chili gives a slight citrusy zing, but no real heat, and this salt can be used on pretty much anything. Use a little or shake liberally over any protein or veggie for a delicious garlic kick. Make a compound butter using V’s Garlic Salt and spread on bread, then bake or broil until toasted for yummy garlic bread to go with any meal. Use this compound butter on grilled steak, or to baste veggies, seafood or fish while baking or grilling. Net Wt. 1 oz.
We recently discovered a super simple and incredibly tasty recipe for chicken. We like to start with chicken thighs, but chicken breasts work well too with less marinating and cooking time. Combine equal parts of Worcestershire sauce and Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (or low sodium soy sauce) enough to evenly coat chicken, and add about a tablespoon of roasted garlic powder in a bowl or Ziplock bag. Mix well, then add chicken thighs, and marinate for 1 to 4 hours (30 mins to 1 hour for chicken breasts). Preheat the oven to 400°F, and arrange chicken on a baking tray. Sprinkle chicken thighs with V’s Garlic Salt, and bake for 27 – 29 mins (for chicken breasts bake for 20 – 23 mins). Serve with your favorite side dishes. An optional addition that makes equally delicious chicken is to add crushed pineapple and the juice to the marinade. So dang tasty!
